IDMind AIDA vs. Reeman Nurse

Two healthcare robots for hospital logistics and patient support compared on how AIDA’s broader service capabilities and Reeman Nurse’s secure delivery focus shape their use cases, features and operating roles.

Introduction

The IDMind AIDA and Reeman Nurse are both autonomous mobile service robots designed specifically for healthcare environments. Both are intended to reduce routine logistics workloads inside hospitals by autonomously transporting items and navigating between departments.

AIDA is designed around a broader combination of hospital logistics, patient assistance, guidance and interaction. Its recorded functions include medicine and pharmaceutical transport, laboratory sample delivery, patient and visitor guidance, reception assistance, telepresence support and internal hospital logistics.

The Reeman Nurse, recorded in Robot24 market data-base records as the Nurse Hospital Delivery Robot, has a more dedicated logistics configuration. It features three independent locked compartments and is designed for medicine, laboratory samples, meals, surgical clothing and medical consumables. It also includes QR-code authentication, video traceability, elevator integration and automatic-door control.

Both robots support autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, automatic charging, fleet management and remote monitoring, although their hardware and operational emphasis differ.

How They Compare

Both AIDA and Reeman Nurse are designed to automate repetitive hospital logistics while navigating autonomously around staff, patients and visitors.

AIDA has the broader recorded healthcare role. Its functions extend beyond delivery into patient assistance, patient monitoring, visitor guidance, reception, information services, telepresence and human-robot interaction. An optional robotic arm is also recorded, making the platform potentially more flexible for applications beyond compartment-based delivery.

Its technical record includes autonomous hospital navigation, obstacle avoidance, automatic docking, fleet management, autonomous task scheduling, remote monitoring and hospital workflow integration. ROS-based software and cloud integration are also supported.

Reeman Nurse is much more directly configured around secure hospital delivery. The robot has a 20 kg maximum payload and three independent locked compartments. QR authentication provides controlled access to transported items, while video recording provides additional traceability.

The Reeman robot also has a substantial runtime advantage in the Robot24 records. AIDA is listed at approximately four hours per charge, while Reeman Nurse is recorded at 15–20 hours.

Reeman also has specifically recorded elevator control and automatic-door control. These are important capabilities for autonomous multi-department hospital logistics because the robot can move between floors and controlled areas without requiring staff assistance.

Both have maximum speeds of approximately 1.2 m/s and both support autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance.

Summary

IDMind AIDA and Reeman Nurse are both autonomous healthcare robots, but their recorded configurations target slightly different roles.

AIDA is the broader service platform. In addition to hospital deliveries, it is recorded for patient and visitor assistance, reception, information services, monitoring and telepresence. Its ROS support, cloud integration and optional robotic arm also provide additional flexibility.

Reeman Nurse is more specialised around secure hospital logistics. Its 20 kg payload, three locked compartments, QR authentication, elevator integration, automatic-door control and 15–20-hour runtime are particularly relevant for repeated medicine, sample and medical-supply deliveries.

The principal distinction is therefore between AIDA's broader healthcare interaction and assistance functions and Reeman Nurse's specialised secure delivery and longer operational runtime.
