FF EAI Robotics Reports 1,168 Robot Deliveries Since February After Record October Sales

FF EAI Robotics shipped a record 351 robots in October, lifting deliveries to 1,168 since February, and is expanding in the US Northeast.

FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem, which trades on Nasdaq as FFR, says it sold and shipped 351 robot devices in October, its best month so far. That brings total sales and shipments to 1,168 since deliveries began in late February, the first time the company has gone past 1,000.

The figures come from the company’s weekly investor report, the first one written by YT Jia since he became chief executive. October topped the previous record of 265 units, set in September. At the end of September, the running total stood at 817. FFR says every unit it delivered earned a positive gross margin.

Looking ahead, the company expects monthly sales and shipments to average more than 400 units in both November and December. It’s sticking with full-year guidance of about 2,000 devices for the robotics business it acquired, counted on a standalone basis. That leaves more than 800 units to ship in the last two months of the year, so November and December are the real test.

Education is the lead market. FFR says that business is spreading from Los Angeles into the Bay Area and Silicon Valley, and that repeating the approach region by region is already working. The company wants to become the leading provider of K-12 robotics education in the US. Other areas are further back. Security and inspection have reached proof-of-concept stage, commercial and services customers are testing real-world uses, and industrial and logistics work is still building the product and technology it needs to scale.

The regional push is the other piece of news. FFR says its New York and Northeast office is now fully operational and has started recruiting business partners. The first phase covers New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, southwestern Connecticut and eastern Pennsylvania. The company plans to develop customers, build sales channels and form partnerships across its four industry areas, aiming for a regional business that spans product sales, deployment and operating services. It also wants to bring RoboShare, its robot-sharing platform, to the East Coast.

The timing lines up with the company’s stock market debut. FFR recently completed its listing and held its first investor day in New York, and says its robots drew crowds on Manhattan streets and in parks.

A few things aren’t in the report. The company didn’t say which kinds of robots it sold or how much revenue the 1,168 units brought in, which makes it hard to judge what those shipments are worth. The numbers are FFR’s own, and so is its description of itself as the first US company to deliver both humanoid and bionic robots.
