ENCY Teams Up with Stäubli to Make Robot Programming Easier
ENCY has announced a new partnership with Stäubli. The purpose is to make ENCY software work flawlessly with Stäubli’s robots.

Do you know what exactly happens before deploying a robot in a factory? Well, a robot is first programmed. It is then checked for accuracy before it performs any job there. It is ensured that every movement is precise so that no disruption in work happens. Manufacturers, on one hand, are looking for more robots, while on the other hand, robotic companies are working closely with developers to increase performance. This is exactly the focus of the new partnership between ENCY Software and Stäubli Robotics.
ENCY has announced a new partnership with Stäubli. The purpose is to make ENCY software work flawlessly with Stäubli’s robots. Put simply, the goal is to program, test, and deploy industrial robots in an easy way.
So where does the problem lie? ENCY says that a range of tough jobs are performed by robots. Milling, grinding, cutting, deburring, polishing, and laser processing all need very accurate instructions for robots. This involves turning complicated CAD/CAM paths into robot movements that work well in reality. However, this is not always easy to do.
Andrea Tagliabue of Stäubli Robotics said that for advanced robotics, we not only need powerful programming tools, but we also want them to be practical in real production. He also said that by combining ENCY’s offline programming and Stäubli robots’ performance, manufacturers and integrators can move forward confidently toward production.
CEO of ENCY Software, Andrei Kharatsidi, said that there is no need for a complex system for manufacturers. They only need a simple setup where they can easily move from digital planning to actual robot deployment. He said that, through this partnership, they will be able to make advanced-level programming easier to use.
ENCY Software is a Cyprus-based company, and they started their operations in 2024. The company says its software brings together both traditional and AI-based CAD and manufacturing tools. You know what the best part is? It combines offline and real-time programming. Don’t know what that is? Well, it is different from traditional methods. Here, you don’t need to stop the functioning of the robot. Instead, what you need to do is create a virtual model of the robot. You can program it and check for errors. Once the simulation is ready, you can deploy it on the actual robot.
Stäubli Brings the Hardware Side
The partnership was announced at the ENCY World Conference 2026. Stäubli Robotics and CNC Solutions also took part in the event, talking about how robot hardware and digital manufacturing tools can work more closely together.
Stäubli says it supplies the robot hardware that production environments rely on, including robots built to be accurate and sturdy so they can carry out movements reliably.
Stäubli Robotics builds industrial robots used in tough applications across several industries, including manufacturing, automotive, medical, food, pharmaceutical, logistics, and metalworking. Stäubli is part of the larger Stäubli Group, a mechatronics company based in Switzerland.
ENCY said the agreement shows a shared goal between the two companies: making advanced robotic applications simpler to program, easier to set up, and easier to repeat.
ENCY Also Updates Its Software
ENCY seems determined to excel in the industry. Last week, they released Version 2.8 of the ENCY CAD/CAM and ENCY Robot software. So what was new in it? Well, they have updated machining reports and operation stats. Not only this, but they have also improved their workflow, along with fixing several bugs. They have also made their license management clearer in this update.
Back in April, ENCY also updated its ENCY Hyper system. This combines offline programming with real-time robot operations. This combination makes the workflow easier in a single process. This system supports several robots from various manufacturers. It includes Stäubli, ABB Robotics, DENSO, Doosan Robotics, Epson Robots, FANUC, Kawasaki, KUKA, OMRON, Techman, Universal Robots, and Yaskawa.
