DUBAI — Dubai-based humanoids Bu Sunaidah and Moza, who won hearts around the world when they announced their wedding through social media, have introduced their new "baby", called Sinad. 

They introduced their new addition on Instagram, uploading a picture of the cute robot wrapped in a blanket, along with two love heart emojis.  
 

The robot pictured appears to be a UBTECH Alpha Mini, based on its blue LCD eyes, forehead camera, round silver ear panels and white-and-grey body. The reveal extends a storyline that has already taken Bu Sunaidah from public appearances to wedding celebrations.  

In August, the account introduced Moza with a staged wedding-themed post wearing traditional Emirati attire. Both the adult robots are Unitree G1 humanoid robots. Their names and outfits give the machines distinct social media identities, with Bu Sunaidah appearing in a kandura and Moza often wearing an abaya.  

Bu Sunaidah’s appeal also extends beyond relationship updates. Associated with Dubai-based SS Lootah Group, the humanoid has appeared in Arabic-language videos drawing on Emirati traditions, giving a commercially available machine a local personality. 

Its appearances have included footage near Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a widely shared video that appeared to show it joining Eid prayers at a Dubai mosque.
