Commercial cleaning robots automate routine floor care, but tank capacity, cleaning coverage and charging time can shape where each model fits best.

Pudu Robotics’ BG1 and VIGGO’s SC50 Pro Plus, built by Beijing Idriverplus, both handle hard-floor scrubbing and mopping. BG1 targets large logistics, retail, manufacturing and healthcare facilities, while SC50 Pro Plus is aimed at complex small-to-medium commercial interiors.

How They Compare

Both robots are designed for routine hard-floor cleaning, combining autonomous navigation with scrubbing and mopping. BG1 ranks first in the supplied dataset at 99/100, with SC50 Pro Plus close behind at 98/100. That narrow score difference reflects the dataset’s methodology rather than a measured field-performance gap.

BG1’s clearest advantage is capacity. Its 75 L clean-water and 60 L wastewater tanks exceed the SC50 Pro Plus’s 42 L and 30 L tanks. Its claimed cleaning rate reaches 2,000 m²/h, compared with 1,800 m²/h for SC50 Pro Plus. BG1 also lists up to 6,000 m²/h for spot cleaning, a separate operating mode that should not be treated as directly comparable with routine scrubbing.

Their navigation systems take different approaches. BG1 combines LiDAR and 3D VSLAM with AI-based spill and stain detection and fleet coordination. SC50 Pro Plus combines 2D and Mid-360 3D LiDAR with five vision sensors and six ultrasonic sensors. Its broader listed sensor mix does not, by itself, establish better navigation performance.

SC50 Pro Plus weighs 180 kg, compared with approximately 344 kg for BG1, and pairs a 24V/60Ah battery with a roughly 50-minute recharge. It lists 2–2.5 hours of scrubbing or 5–7 hours of mopping and dry-cleaning, while BG1 lists up to 7.5 hours. Actual endurance will depend on the cleaning mode and operating conditions.

Large facilities prioritising tank capacity, coverage and fleet coordination may find BG1 the closer fit. Smaller or more complex interiors may favour SC50 Pro Plus’s lighter platform and quick charging, although access dimensions and manoeuvrability should be checked on site.
