About the Xiaobailong

Xiaobailong (小白龙) is the internal codename for the third-generation prototype of Pengxing Intelligence's first intelligent robotic horse, officially unveiled with XPENG in September 2021. The rideable quadruped combines proprietary high-power-density actuators and AI-based dynamic motion control with XPENG-derived intelligent-driving technology, including vision and LiDAR perception. It supports autonomous movement, mapping, route planning, target following and obstacle avoidance, while multimodal visual, auditory and tactile interaction enables companionship and human-robot interaction. It was conceived primarily as an intelligent short-distance mobility platform and companion, particularly for children, rather than as a conventional robot dog.
