About the Alpha 2
Alpha 2 is UBTECH's compact 20-DOF intelligent humanoid robot developed as a family companion and household service platform. It combines bipedal locomotion and autonomous fall recovery with voice recognition, conversation, visual interaction, ultrasonic/touch/pressure sensing, photography, reminders, information services and home-security monitoring. Unlike the earlier motion-focused Alpha 1 Pro, Alpha 2 incorporates substantially richer perception, cloud intelligence and an open application platform with mobile and onboard SDKs for third-party development.
