About the AI Sapiens K1

ROBOTIS AI Sapiens K1 is a 23-DoF, approximately 1.36-meter, 35-kg open-source bipedal humanoid designed specifically for Physical AI research, education and robot development. Powered by DYNAMIXEL-Q quasi-direct-drive actuators and NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX computing, K1 provides a real-hardware platform for reinforcement-learning locomotion, whole-body motion imitation, human-to-robot motion retargeting and simulation-to-real policy deployment. ROBOTIS integrates K1 with ROS 2, NVIDIA Isaac Lab, MuJoCo/MJLab and open-source development resources so researchers and developers can train humanoid behaviors in simulation and execute them on physical hardware.

Typical applications: Research & Development, Education & Training, Development Platform.
