The Lynxmotion A4WD3 Rugged Wheeled Rover is a professional-grade four-wheel-drive (4WD) unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) developed by Lynxmotion (RobotShop Inc.) for robotics research, autonomous navigation, inspection, surveillance, defense research, SLAM, and outdoor mobile robotics. It is the rugged successor to the A4WD1 platform and features a dust- and water-resistant aluminum chassis, four planetary-geared DC motors with magnetic encoders, and a modular design that supports RC control, semi-autonomous, or fully autonomous operation depending on the installed electronics. It is available as a frame-only kit, RC kit, or autonomous kit
