The Lynxmotion A4WD1 Rover is a commercial four-wheel-drive robotic rover platform developed by Lynxmotion (RobotShop Inc.) for robotics research, education, autonomous navigation, teleoperation, SLAM development, computer vision, inspection, and mobile robotics experimentation. Built around a rugged anodized aluminum chassis with Servo Erector Set (SES) compatibility, the A4WD1 is a modular platform that can be configured for RC control, semi-autonomous operation, or fully autonomous navigation. It supports the addition of robotic arms, pan-tilt units, LiDAR, cameras, and other sensors, making it a versatile development platform rather than a fixed-function robot.
