About the G-1

GITAI G1 is a general-purpose, dual-arm humanoid space robot developed by GITAI Inc., designed to perform manipulation, assembly, and servicing tasks inside and outside space stations and future lunar bases. It combines AI autonomy with teleoperation via GITAI's proprietary "H1" control system, and has completed a successful ISS technology demonstration (2021) and simulated in-space assembly/manufacturing tasks (2022). GITAI has since secured contracts with Japan's METI and JAXA to continue developing related space robotics technology.
