About the Centaur Robot

The CETC Centaur Robot is a wheel-leg hybrid mobile robot combining the speed of wheels, terrain adaptability of legs, and manipulation capabilities of robotic arms. It has 32 degrees of freedom, can move omnidirectionally, navigate stairs, slopes and rubble, and autonomously perform SLAM navigation and obstacle avoidance. Its dual arms can provide more than 12 kg of gripping force, while the robot has a dynamic payload exceeding 30 kg and more than 4 hours of operating endurance. It was designed primarily for high-risk applications such as emergency firefighting, public-security operations, disaster response and hazardous industrial tasks.
