About the Panda Robot

UBTECH Panda Robot, named Youyou, is a 1.3-meter, 63-kg panda-themed humanoid robot developed from UBTECH's Walker humanoid service-robot technology. Created specifically for the China Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, the 41-joint bipedal robot served as a Peace and Friendship Ambassador, interacting with and guiding visitors while demonstrating Chinese cultural activities including calligraphy and painting. It combines autonomous navigation, computer vision, hand-eye coordination, voice interaction, multi-modal perception, expressive bionic eyes and articulated arms and hands.
