About the Roboy 3.0
Roboy 3.0 is a musculoskeletal, tendon-driven humanoid telepresence robot developed by Devanthro GmbH, unveiled in October 2020 as a full redesign from Roboy 2.0. Standing 1.65m and weighing 60kg with 28 degrees of freedom, it uses custom muscle-unit actuators (up to 300N tendon force) for compliant, human-safe motion and FPGA-based real-time control, functioning as a robotic avatar body for remote human operators — technology that later evolved into Devanthro's "Robody" elder-care platform.
Typical applications: Research & Development.
