BEIJING -- Chinese humanoid robot maker Noetix Robotics has confidentially filed for an initial public offering in Hong Kong that could raise several hundred million dollars, Bloomberg reported Oct. 22, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Beijing-based company, formally known as Songyan Power (Beijing) Technology Co., could list as early as 2027, according to the report. The offering's size and timing remain under discussion and could change.

Noetix did not respond to Bloomberg's request for comment. No public IPO prospectus was available to independently confirm the filing or establish the company's proposed valuation and financial performance.

The company develops humanoid robots for research, education and potential commercial applications. Its lineup includes the N2, E1 and Bumi, a smaller humanoid aimed at making the technology more accessible.

The reported IPO plans follow a financing round in March 2026 that raised approximately 1 billion yuan ($150 million). The investment was led by an industrial investment platform affiliated with Chinese battery manufacturer CATL.

Noetix has also received backing from the Beijing Robot Industry Development Investment Fund, according to an April 2025 Hong Kong Stock Exchange announcement by Shoucheng Holdings, which manages the fund through a subsidiary.

The company attracted attention in 2025 when its N2 humanoid participated in Beijing's humanoid robot half-marathon, an event used by developers to test locomotion and endurance.
